Interest in sustainable production

Last month, on Tuesday 24 April, we at DENCKER were visited by TV2.

They were very interested in how plastic can be recycled for the production of new components.

The presentation was therefore based on a specific example in which plastic materials are recycled.
The example was a plate that also functions as a beer holder. The idea came from a collaboration between Worldperfect and the NorthSide festival, where NorthSide wanted to recycle its plastic waste.
At DENCKER, we were asked to provide a complete solution, including consultancy, production and moulding of the components. To mould the components, we use their used beer cups, which are first cleaned and then granulated.

We are very pleased with the final result, and we look forward to moulding plates for the NorthSide festival.

TV2 interviewed our own designer, Simon Kofod, and consultant Jakob Baungaard from Worldperfect.

The broadcast is expected to air at the end of May, both on TV2 News and as part of the news coverage on TV2.
