DENCKER’s Terms and Conditions of Business

At DENCKER, our goal is to ensure that you, as our customer, are satisfied with both our collaboration and the outcome of the assignment. To provide the best foundation for your satisfaction, we have formulated a set of general terms and conditions. These apply to us and to you as a customer, unless otherwise specifically agreed.

 

1. OFFERS, ORDERS, AND ACCEPTANCE

  • DENCKER’s offers are valid for 30 days from the date of the offer.
  • Orders can only be put into production once the customer has accepted the offer.
  • For larger orders or orders with a long lead time, a payment plan applies (40% – 40% – 20%): 40% upon order, 40% upon delivery, and 20% once the customer has approved the goods.

 

2. DELIVERY

  • DENCKER can deliver your products with our own delivery truck.
  • If you require express delivery—for example, next-day delivery—please contact us for further information.
  • Freight costs and delivery times vary from order to order.
  • We operate under Incoterms 2020 – EX Works.

 

3. PAYMENT

  • DENCKER’s payment terms are agreed individually with each customer.

 

4. RETURN POLICY

  • DENCKER does not offer a right of return, as all products are custom-made to order.

 

5. WARRANTY CLAIMS

  • DENCKER offers a right to claim defects, but only if the customer identifies faults or deficiencies in the product immediately upon delivery. If the customer does not notify us of faults or deficiencies immediately, the right to claim lapses.

 

6. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

  • DENCKER offers a right of cancellation, provided that the customer covers all costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

 

7. DISCLAIMER AND PRODUCT LIABILITY

  • DENCKER is under no circumstances liable for operational losses or any other form of lost profits in our customers’ businesses, whether directly or indirectly, as a result of products or services delivered by DENCKER.
  • DENCKER cannot guarantee shrinkage, warping, or suction effects. We rely solely on material data sheets.
  • As the customer, you must provide a thorough and complete verbal and/or written description of the assignment. This can also be prepared in collaboration with us.
  • You must ensure that DENCKER has one or more competent project managers in your company to collaborate with during the process. It is your responsibility to ensure we quickly receive the necessary information during the process.
  • You must inform us if, during the process, it becomes evident that the final product should differ from what was originally agreed in order to achieve optimal results. In such cases, DENCKER will do everything possible to ensure you receive a product with which you are 100% satisfied, despite the original agreement.

 

8. OUR OBLIGATIONS

  • DENCKER will complete any assignment for which a verbal or written agreement has been made.
  • We treat all information about our customers confidentially.
  • We involve you if situations arise during the process that affect the terms, process, or final product compared to what was agreed.
  • All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, which is stated explicitly on the invoice.

 

9. WARRANTY

  • DENCKER provides warranty on tools. The warranty is agreed individually upon order.

 

10. COPYRIGHT

  • From time to time, DENCKER photographs and documents the production process involving specific products for use on this website and in printed publications. We do this in a way that ensures you, as the customer, remain anonymous, unless we have obtained your consent to use your and/or your company’s name.

 

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

  • Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be settled in accordance with Danish law and by the Danish courts.

 

12. DATA PROTECTION POLICY

  • DENCKER takes care to protect the personal data received from you as a customer.
    Our structured data procedures ensure that we can at all times provide information about how your data are used and demonstrate which data we store. Furthermore, we ensure that no unnecessary data are retained.
    We guarantee that your data are stored on servers with a high level of security.
    Our data-cleaning procedures also ensure that, if changes occur within your company, our data will be updated accordingly.
