The construction of a new 1,000 m² production hall has taken its first steps, and a new 5-axis machining centre has been installed.
Due to significant growth in recent years within Tool & Plastic, DENCKER needs to expand its facilities in Nykøbing Mors. The growth has been driven by many exciting projects for both new and existing customers, the majority of which are Danish.
In particular, our modular and innovative systems within toolmaking and plastic production have played a major role in this growth.
As of 1 April 2017, DENCKER has taken over Oticon’s tool and plastic production in Thisted. This production will be moved to Nykøbing in spring 2018, bringing everything together at one location.
The acquisition has created an entirely new and exciting business area for DENCKER: “Micro Tooling”.
DENCKER now represents a total of 60 employees. Our facilities in Nykøbing are also being expanded with approximately 200 square metres of canteen and welfare facilities.
The expansion means that we will have the optimal conditions to keep up with the high demand, while also making room for more machines in the future.
We look forward to expanding the factory, enabling us to develop in line with the high demand from our customers.
“Above all, DENCKER has maintained quality and good service for our customers – and that seems to be the way forward for us.” – Anders Dencker
The expansion has now taken its first steps, and we expect to see the finished result in February 2018.
New machine in operation
In addition, we have chosen to invest in a new 5-axis machining centre due to high demand for machine parts and advanced CNC milling.
The machine is a HAAS UMC-750, supplied by Edstrøms Maskiner in Hedensted. It has already been delivered and put into operation.
